POC Leadership Panel
It’s no secret that transgender and gender-diverse people of color—especially trans women of color—are significantly overrepresented in most every community disparity measured, from murder to employment to surgery access. Conversely, they are severely underrepresented in leadership roles among groups and organizations serving the community. How does this disparity impact not just trans people of color, but the trans community as a whole? This panel of local c organizers will lead a collaborative exploration of how organizations and individuals can work to ensure trans people of color are centered in positions of leadership and influence.
