Seattle Counseling Service
Founded in 1969, Seattle Counseling Service is the oldest LGBTQ-focused community mental health agency in the world. We provide mental health, addiction recovery, HIV-prevention, and outreach services to over 1750 clients annually, the majority of whom are low-income. In addition to providing direct services to the LGBTQ community, SCS is a counseling and social work professional training site. We provide accessible mental health and addiction recovery services to the LGBTQ community. Three Dollar Bill Cinema strengthens, connects, and reflects diverse communities through queer film and media. FTM Fitness World began in 2012 as a hobby for a group of Transmen interested in building community support in order to stay accountable to our fitness endeavors. Our success then allowed us to grow into a larger community support group. As we evolved, we realized the needs of the Trans community, the growth of our following and the scope of our niche. That led us to create the FTM Foundation and in 2014 we launched the first historical worldwide bodybuilding competition for people of Trans experience.
