Susan P. Landon, MA, LMFT, is the director of the Child and Adolescent Program at the Los Angeles Gender Center. She has worked with children, adolescents, and their families for over 30 years and with gender non-conforming and transgender children, adolescents, and their families for 12. It is very important to her to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which to give these families the information they need to explore the many aspects of diverse gender expression and identity and navigate all the various challenges that this journey may present. She also offers in-service trainings on gender diversity for parents, teachers, and school administrators.
