Growing Old Gracefully: The Transgender Experience is a groundbreaking film that highlights the trials and tribulations transgender people face when growing older.
The film features the true-life stories of five transgender elders currently dealing with many of the issues that come with age. Additional interviews with well-known trans activists, clinicians, and health-care providers are included
The film is currently in production and Gender Odyssey is excited to have a first glimpse at this important documentary during our 2013 annual conference. Filmmaker Joe Ippolito will be in attendance and will discuss the film and other components of the Growing Old Gracefully program.
