Events Schedule

As you begin planning your Gender Odyssey weekend — especially if you are booking travel from out of town — keep in mind that in addition to workshops, the conference features many evening events you may want to attend. We strongly recommend that you plan to attend the entire weekend, from Friday evening through Monday night.

To give you an idea of what to expect, here's a sampling of last year's event schedule:

Friday:

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM — Registration, Meet & Greet

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM — People of Color Reception

7:00 PM – 10:30 PM — Film Festival Screenings

9:00 PM – 11:00 PM — Performance by Lynnee Breedlove

Saturday:

8:00 AM – 5:30 PM — Workshops and Town Meetings

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM — Film Festival Screenings

8:00 PM – 12:00 AM — Plenary, Film Screening, and Party

Sunday:

8:00 AM – 5:30 PM — Workshops and Town Meetings

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM — Barbeque

9:00 PM – 2:00 AM — Play Party

Monday:

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM — Workshops and Town Meetings

5:00 PM – 9:00 PM — Wind Down Social

While we expect our 2008 schedule to have new and different events in addition to the ones that are popular year after year, you should expect many events to choose from, running from Friday afternoon through Monday evening. Please plan your travel accordingly.
